Bruce, Did you ever consider designing your water tanks to place them up high under the gunwale side decks to use as water ballast by transferring water back and forth to the windward side? Steve Dashew designed that into almost all his aluminum boats. It reduces heel and keeps the sail closer to vertical for additional speed.
